The Well
A starless region, visible to the unaided eye, fixed in our sky for as long as records exist. Ancient peoples gave it many names; ours called it the Well, and the name held. Early radio science confirmed the Well is not silent. Brightwave Systems confirmed it is not empty.
The platform
The Array tunes a directed photon beam through the Well's stable aperture and achieves signal lock on sources within. Locked signals are recovered as dense Narrative Returns and passed to our proprietary interpretive core for processing into usable language, sound, and imagery.
How a thread is built
Similar accounts recovered from unrelated sources are assembled into a thread. Occasionally a thread ends in a convergence event of unusual amplitude, what our analysts first called bright waves. Today, a thread capped by a confirming brightwave is considered validated. One story is an anecdote. Forty accounts of the same moment is a market.
The Interpreter
Every Return is processed by the Interpreter, the proprietary interpretive core at the center of the platform. The core renders dense recovered signal into usable language, sound, and imagery, preserving the character of the original account while producing material a partner can evaluate the same day.
The core's architecture was developed entirely in house and remains the company's principal trade secret. Interpretive throughput is currently the platform's limiting factor; expanding core capacity is a primary use of funds. All core operations are supervised directly by the founder.
